Ingredients (serves 4)
- 4 Eggs
- 1 Large Onion - finely chopped
- 1 Large Tomatoes - finely chopped
- 1 tbs Sugar
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder - Salt to taste
1tsp Ghee
2 tbs Oil
2 tbs Oil
Method
- Heat a kadhai, put ghee and oil in it. (Ghee adds flavour).
- Once the mix of oil and ghee heat up add finely chopped onion to it and saute till it turns pink.
- Now add finely chopped tomatoes and saute for 1 minute.
- Now add turmeric, red chilli powder and sugar. Mix well and allow it to cook for 2 minutes.
- Add salt and mix well.
- Set this mixture nicely at the bottom of the kadhai and make 4 shallow depressions into it.
- Crack eggs gently into these depressions.
- Cook for 2 minutes until the egg whites set and turn off the flame.
- You can cut out each portion of egg along with the masala under it and serve it with Chapati or Bread.
